Glenmore Way Traffic Light
"Residents will be pleased to learn that VDOT and the Albemarle county planning department have finally sanctioned the installation of a traffic light at the intersection of Glenmore Way and Route 250. The traffic light was the subject of a proffer from the developer when plans for Glenmore were first approved. Because this was more than 10 years ago, the detailed engineering plan needs to be updated and re-approved by VDOT. This is a lengthy process, which is expected to lead to implementation during the first quarter of 2009."
Not all residents. I do not think this is necessary at this time. It is much harder to make a left-hand exit from Dunlora than it is from Glenmore.

Swim Team
Swim team practice started yesterday. Bailey and Sydney, every day, 445pm-530pm. Home swim meets are June 18 and June 25.
Mountain Trekker
Calvin and the other 29 Mountain Trekkers left at 8am this morning for the hills of West Virginia.
The gifted teacher, a 6th grade science teacher, the intervention specialist, and 30 kids (19B, 11G) on two school busses.
I think it's only about 120 miles away, but maybe as much as 3 hours on a school bus.
They arrive back at Burley Saturday afternoon at 5:30.

Wii Golf (again)
Just tied the course record that I had set last night. Birdied 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 for another six-under 30. Ninth hole was tough, had about 40 feet from the fringe for birdie, got it close for a 2-footer for the par, and the "30."
Wii Golf
Set the new course (house) record in Wii Golf last night vs. Calvin.
Birdies on 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and 9 and pars on 4, 6 and 8 gave me a six-under score of 30.
Calvin and I had shared the old record at five-under 30.
A 28-foot birdie putt on the 9th hole gave me the record.
